Say Cheese!!

Garret really didn't want Sam to have his arm around him as you can see!

I just thought that I would get a little snap shot of the boys sitting under the Christmas Tree, I didn't have much luck. This last one wasn't too bad, but still wasn't the best.

Rogers Family Christmas Present = A New Sewer System

Sam and D' both helped me dig using their "big boy" shovel.

Just before Thnsksgiving we found out that our sewer line was CRAPPY (in every sense of the word). It got even worse when we found out how much it would cost to replace. So being the penny pincher that I am, I wanted to just dig a big latrine and call it good (It would be like camping all the time, loads of fun). However Kassie did not agree. So for Christmas this year, Sam and I got to dig a big hole in the front yard and Kassie got a new sewer line. My favorite part was digging up the grass that I had just laid in September. It is nice not to have to go outside to use the bathroom, and another bonus is not to have POOOOOOP!!!! backing up into our house.

Sam bowling with his preschool group

Silly Sam!!
We let Garret bowl a couple of times, he thought he was so big.

Sam loved to bowl

Garret trying to get a ball

I love my two boys, they are so much fun. Sam has really enjoyed his preschool and has learned so much, he loves all of the field trips that we go on and the boys in his class.

Visiting Gran's (and Uncle Pug's)

Gran giving the horse a carrot. Garret was not so sure about the whole thing, so he didn't get too close, although he loved to watch and be out there. He thought he was so big standing up there!

Garret playing in the leaves

Sam is so sweet with his brother, he is always helping and playing with him!

Yesterday I took the boys out to Gran's house to visit and we raked all of the leaves off of the lawn before the rain and of course right after I finished, it started raining and it has continued off and on for the past 24 hours. Garret loved helping, he found a little dust pan and would fill it with leaves and dump them in the pot that you see behind him in the picture above, then he would laugh and do it again. Sam had fun jumping in the pile, but didn't really want to help bag all of them.

Cooking with Gran!

I love this picture Sam and my Grandma rolling out the fry bread for navajo tacos. They were both having so much fun, as you can tell by the mess!

Christmas!!!

The finished product with the train that Aaron's family gave the boys for Christmas

I love Christmas time, and getting together with friends and family. The past two years Sam has been big enough to put the star on the tree, Aaron holds him up and on goes the star, this year he couldn't even wait until the tree was finished. Garret wouldn't take his eyes off of the red balls (which in the end all ended up on the upper half of the tree), he tried and tried to get one off of the tree, but finely stopped after he realized that Sam was not going to let him have one no matter what he did, Sam would say in a very sweet voice "no no Garret those are not for you, those are for our pretty Christmas tree". Garret is now over the excitement of the tree and luckily we have had no broken ornaments this year. (sorry, but I don't know how to turn my picture!)

Our little car boy!!!

Garret loves driving some little cars that we got, he always has one in his mouth and one in each hand. He drives them around the house, up and down the the hall and on the furniture.

Pumpkin Patch!

These are some pictures of the boys getting their pumpkins at the pumpkin patch! The boys loved it! We had a picnic and played all of the fun little games.

A little monkey!

Garret is so funny, he is always climbing on, in and under thing in our house. He is such fun boy!

Last night he got stuck in this chair, he was happy until he realized that he was stuck!

Spider Sam

Sam made sure to let everyone at the party know that I didn't like spiders and that I scream when I see one! (that is every spider but this one he is so cute!)

Ward Halloween Party!

Our ward Halloween Party was so much fun this year, Garret got an award for his costume, and they had a room that was full of packing peanuts that the kids had to did through to find all of the candy they loved it!
